The Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) 2015 was conducted on 23 August, 2015. About 4.56 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.

There were two papers: Paper I (General Studies) had 100 questions and Paper 2 (General Aptitude Test) had 80 questions.

For students who appeared for Civil Service Preliminary Examination (2015), General Studies Paper-I is the decisive paper for selection in the Main examination. CSAT Paper II has been made of qualifying nature with minimum passing marks of 1/3rd of the total marks.
