SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGLE)
SSC CGLE 2014
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) for recruitment to different posts for which a graduation from a recognized University is the minimum requirement. The exam consists of two tiers of written objective type questions followed by computer proficiency test or Interview or skill test.
CGLE Important Dates
- Notification Date: 18 January, 2014
- Last Date to Apply: 14 February, 2014
- Exam Dates (Tier I): 27 April and 4 May, 2014
- Exam Dates (Tier II): 30 and 31 August, 2014
CGL Exam Pattern
There is one objective paper of 200 marks with 4 sections - Reasoning, Mathematics, General Awareness and English. Each section has 50 questions. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks.
Those who qualify in the Tier-I, have to appear for Tier-II. It also contains multiple choice questions. Maths and English Papers are for everyone. Statistics paper is only for those who apply for statistics invigilator/compiler post. Each paper is of 200 marks and 2 hours duration.
