Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Exam

The Union Public Service Commission conducts written examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) - Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

This paper contains objective type Multiple Choices Questions. Questions are set in set in English as well as in Hindi.

This paper contains two parts - Part A and Part B. The exam is of 200 marks and the duration of the paper is 3 hours. 

The UPSC conducts examination for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for the purpose of filling vacancies of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Paper I has two parts - Part A is General Ability and Intelligence and Part B is Professional Skill.

There are three cutoffs - for paper I out of 250 marks, for written out of 450 marks and for the last recommended candidate out of 600 marks.
